As we know, teenage years are the best years in our life. They are filled with the most thrilling adventures, best experiences, and fun crazy friends. But of course, it is not as easy as we think—not everything are all cupcakes and rainbows. There are bullies that just really need attention. And those cliché bitches aka “the plastics,” who’re just jealous and insecure of girls who are true to themselves and beautiful in their own way.
We think that avoiding them is the solution, but no. If we encounter them, we should stand up for ourselves and don’t let them see that they get to us. We should be strong and independent because we can only depend on ourselves. We need to believe, trust, and love ourselves. We need to be brave, strong and ready for whatever challenge that may hit us. And also for the people that love and care for us—like our family and friends.
So let go of that shiny, metal thing or that capsule you’re holding and back away from that cliff you’re standing. And start thinking of the people who loves you. Think how devastated they would be.
Never lose hope, because everyone is equally loved by God. Love your flaws and imperfections. It’s okay to be different from others. Learn to love oneself. Because you are, who you need.
